Universitas Padjadjaran (UnPad) is an autonomous public university in Indonesia established 15 September 1957 and located in West Java Bandung City. UnPad has 16 faculties which are Law, Economy, Medicine, Mathematics and Basic Science, Agriculture, Dentistry, Social and Politics, Culture, Psychology, Animal Husbandary, Communication, Nursing, Fishery and Marine Science, Industrial Technology Agriculture, Pharmacy, and Geology.

The university has over 40,000 students including Master’s students, Doctoral degree students, Specialist programme students, Professional students, and Undergraduate students. UnPad’s alumni network is close to 200,000 alumni.

UnPad have strong collaborations with other Higher Education institutions in Indonesia especially with three supervised Universities that extend to the 5 biggest islands, i.e. Haluoleu University, Mulawarman University, and Sriwijaya University. Haluoleo University is in Kendari city, South East Sulawesi; Mulawarman University in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan; and Sriwijaya University in Palembang City, South Sumatera.

UnPad also have a Center for Incubator Business providing service to SMEs. This facility helps grow young businesses by providing them with financial and technical services, and provides a bridge between young business units with bigger companies or consumers. UnPad collaborate with industry and as such is well-placed to accommodate the continuity of the project to maximise its impact on the community, and to extend the project to its partner universities.
